House Bill No. 5897

Michigan gearheads, listen up!! Your state representatives are trying to pass a bill that would be very costly to vintage and historic auto owners/collectors. Simply put, the bill (5897) wants to increase registration fees from a "one time $30.00 licensing fee" , as it is now, to a registration cost of $30.00 per YEAR!!  I urge everyone reading this to email, write or call your state representative and loudly object to this rediculous cost increase. I have posted a link below to a list of Michigan state representatives for the entire state, and their email addresses.

 It is my suggestion that you write a letter to each and EVERY email address listed. We must stop the frivilous penalties being imposed upon the auto enthusiasts. I suggest we make a point to demand they learn to balance a budget, rather than impose higher registration fees in order to increase revenues. Please write now.
